Analysing survey results

My target audience is between the ages of 15 and 21. This means I will use informal language and slang that adolescents will appeal to.

The results show me that 70% of the people that answered my survey are male, so I am going to use more masculine colours in the design. I will also use a few feminine colours as 30% of the people that answered my survey are female.  I will probably use colours such as purple, black and red as these colours appeal to both male and females.

Only a few people are into techno and into dubstep. The top three answers were indie, rock and pop. Which tells me i should add indie music into my magazine to appeal to more people

These results show me that not a lot of people favourite artists are dubstep artist, but this does not mean that they do not like that genre of music. In my magazine I will probably have to include something on an indie or pop band as they are quite popular.

80% of the people that answered my survey like dubstep, which tells me there is a place in the market for a magazine dedicated to dubstep, but as 20% said they do not like dubstep I will include something on pop or indie artists.

The majority of the people that answered my survey are students so i am going to use slang in the magazine and images that appeal to them.

The answers i got from this tells me that my audience is up to date in the fashion world, which suggests i should add adverts and images of the latest fashion in the magazine to appeal to the audience.
