Style Sheet

I have decided to use these fonts as they are a  fun kind of font, which will appeal to the audience and represent the genre of music well.

I found from my research that a lot of people represent the dubstep genre with colours like red, black, blue and green. I am using red, black and blue as i associate these colours with dubstep, the target audience will be able to associate these colours with SineWave Magazine and with dubstep.

I have decided to use images like this as the 'clubbing' scene appeals and represents the audience. Also using mid shots of the artists rather then long shots makes the audience feel more initimate with them.

Magazine Pitch

SineWave is a new magazine focusing on the dubstep genre, this is aimed at males and females aged 16-25 and readers are likely to have a disposable income.
The magazine will cover all aspects of the dubstep genre, from the origin to all the best places to go to experience it and the greatest dubstep artists around. There will be interviews with the biggest dubstep artists, reviews of latest albums, up and coming artists and events.
The style will be quite dark, with fluorescent blues, purples, whites etc, reflecting the scene in a nightclub or a gig where dubstep music is played. There will be text and images, both reflecting the style of music.
The example double page spread will be an interview with  ‘Skrillex’. The article will include how he started out, latest tours and reviews on his albums, It will also feature images of him performing live.
The contents page will include images of artists and live gigs. There will be text giving a brief summary on what is featuring on certain pages, such as an interview with 'Knife Party' on page 13.
